Niobe is a series of jewels made by vitrification of hemp flowers
in different sizes, with particular regard to the microbuds.
Following the careful selection of the most suitable inflorescences, we proceed with positioning the flowers inside multiple silicone molds,
made by us, and then covering them with transparent epoxy resin. After 12 hours at a controlled temperature, a vitrified
sphere is obtained which encloses a plenitude of buds or a single flower in all its magnificence.
HISTORY OF "NIOBE"
In Greek mythology, Niobe was the daughter of Tantalus and the wife of Amphion, king of Thebes. She boasted of her fertility and the beauty of her children, making fun of Leto because she had only two (Apollo and Artemis). Her pride led Leto to take revenge by ordering Apollo and Artemis to kill all of Niobe’s children. Only Melibea and Amicla escaped the massacre. Hearing the screams of her dying children, Niobe ran to the palace and was petrified at the sight of the bodies. Zeus took pity of her and transformed her into a rock, from which a source fed by Niobe’s tears sprang.
