Flora is a series of jewels made of vitrified hemp flowers selected in three dimensions. Each single flower is repeatedly dipped in transparent epoxy resin and placed on a drip mat with calibrated ventilation. After 12 hours at a controlled temperature, a vitrified flower is obtained.

HISTORY OF “FLORA”
It is in honor of Flora, a goddess of ancient origins who favored the sprouting of seeds, that the Floralias were celebrated and a large temple was built on the Aventine to ask for protection against famine. The foundation of the city of Florence, Florentia Romana, is also dedicated to the Goddess Flora.
The name Flora comes from the latin flos, floris (“flower”). The goddess is portrayed as a beautiful girl with her head adorned by a floral garland while carrying a large bouquet of flowers on her womb and dancing on a flowery carpet, an image of prosperity and the joy of life.
